" Stepping into venice for the first time was like stepping into a dream, all the preconceived clichés disappeared, one was left to bask in the cities opulence and splendour.
These drawings were done over a period of 3 days sightseeing.
Bringing them home to my studio I quickly produced the gouaches, just as a way of carrying on the memories of the place and to bring a piece of this fantastic city alive in my workspace."
