Leaving the mountains and returning to the SS120 Targa Florio.
It just gets better as the road descends towards the coast
Hill towns and large edges of mountains
dipping into valleys and hugging the ridges
you get a sense of how the old race must have been
the mountains dissolve into the heat haze
all earth colours against the blue
at
the end of the road
the old Targa Florio grandstand and finish line
deserted
left
you almost here the noise
in the silence
